EECY
The flexible education platform that adapts to individual needs
Digital education platforms are often too complex, difficult to access, and do not address the various ways users learn or only covers a certain aspect of learning. These are just a few of the reasons why digital learning is only slowly establishing itself in everyday life.
Enable, Empower, CertifY – that's EECY (ee·zee). The fittest one stop education technology – that's what EECY stands for. Fittest means the highest possible adaptability to specific needs, One Stop emphasises the support of all application purposes and Education stands for the management of knowledge, skills and attitudes at a specific point in time.
The EECY platform technology created by medignition consists of micro-modules that can be combined as required. EECY covers all aspects of learning – from short video lessons and interactive exercises to the comprehensive assessment of knowledge, skills and attitudes by learners and trainers.
In 2015, medignition initiated appertus with its EECY platform, a free mobile app that supports aspiring medical students in preparing for the aptitude test for medical studies (EMS, ‘Numerus Clausus’). appertus is now part of an association that promotes equality in medical studies and offers young people personalised career planning. This was followed by other EECY applications in the education sector, including a digital examination platform for the International Council of Ophthalmology, the world's leading organisation for ophthalmologists, and recently an artificial intelligence (AI)-based software for the University of Zurich's Faculty of Medicine, which supports students in writing their master's thesis and dissertation. medignition's knowledge management platform has also been successful outside the healthcare sector. Today, medignition is the operator of Fintool, Switzerland's largest video training platform with almost 20,000 users. For Fintool, the EECY technology offered a robust platform on the basis of which continuous adjustments and customised further developments can be made.
